Obiettivi dell'insegnamento

This academic Teaching examines the concept of contemporary landscape design through evolving processes and interaction with people.


Risultati di apprendimento attesi

Students will be able to analyze and understand the complexity of public landscape. They will also develop their own critical sense by learning to read anthropic spaces.


Argomenti trattati

EVOLVING LANDSCAPES

It aims at giving students a critical point of view about the complexity in planning, focusing the attention on analyzing many public landscape projects around the world.  Anthropic open spaces, - with their squares, parks, streets, abandoned places, ancient gardens, installations- and natural landscapes, will be analyzed in different geographical areas such as in Europe, North-Central-South America, Africa, Indochina, Australia to discover visible and invisible dynamic systems. The teaching aims also at creating new visionary urban ideas in Landscape, for increasing human relations, users interaction, and strong urban green identities in public spaces. 

TOPIC for the DIGITAL WORKS | NATURE.THE NEW REBEL CITIZENURBAN LANDSCAPE AND FEELINGS. Students are invited to openly discuss and develop new and strong VISIONARY IDEAS for Public Spaces

For students attending the course. The exam will work in group with a final discussion about the content of online lectures and 2 digital works: 1 MANIFESTO| POSTER  in A3 and 1 SHORT MOVIE– [from 3 to5 minutes max]

For students not attending the course. The exam will work with an individual final discussion about: 2 BOOKS| ESSAYS– selected by student, about Contemporary or Historic Landscape Design|Architecture  and 1 SHORT MOVIE– [from 3 to 5 minutes max.]
