The course will consist of cycles of seminars in the field of Bioengineering covering different advanced research areas in biomedical engineering.
At least 10 seminars per year (at least 2 seminars per scientific research area) will be proposed as elective Seminars for PhD candidates and publicized on the Bioengineering PhD web site:
The seminars will take place during the entire year, anyway the most of them will be scheduled in November /December and in April/May of each year. Each PhD student will attend al least 20 Seminars in 3 years and will undergo a final exam at the end of the Course.
The PhD elective Seminars to be proposed will be selected and organized by the Area Coordinators together the Seminar Course coordinator. The presence of the PhD Candidate at the Seminars will be registered by the Area Coordinators during the seminar.

Presentations and additional material provided by the lecturers will be available to the students at Beep. For each Seminar the slides of the presentation, including main references in the field and some hints for an open discussion will be provided.
