Programma dettagliato e risultati di apprendimento attesi

The project work is held in direct collaboration with a company, which proposes an innovation topic. The course is attended by a restricted number of students who are organized in small groups. The students interact with the company staff and with a professor of POLIMI, who supervises the activities and gives the methodological and design framework. The project work entails attending classes at the university as well as working in direct contact with the company. A final evaluation of the single student will be made.
The activities performed during the project work are not to be meant as part of the final MSc Thesis and are in no connection with the development of such Thesis.

For the Academic Year 2016/2017 four specific sub-topics are proposed (in alphabetical order):

 

  • 1. “Control system for an autonomous micro vehicle for urban goods delivery - 

A fully autonomous micro electric vehicle for urban delivery of goods: design and development of an architecture for electric powertrain, sensing and control systems”

2. “Development of an application for the simplified generation of robot trajectories from an imported or self-generated CAD model”

Academic tutor: Prof. Paolo Rocco

3. “Development of methodologies and automatic devices for testing of infant products”

Academic tutor: Prof. Hermes Giberti

Partner company: “Artsana spa”

 

4. “Intelligent collaborative robotics - Innovative functionalities for collaborative robots (cobots) based on control, prediction, and optimization technologies””

Academic tutor: Prof. Andrea Maria Zanchettin
