The Clinical Technology assessment course provides students with instruments and tools to:

• critically review literature (including systematic review and meta-analysis)
• properly design clinical trials
• model decision making processes
• assess medical technology in clinics developing a small project 

Knowledge and understanding: provides the basis and opportunities for clinical trials organization and evaluation, technology assessment, decision making modelling.

Applying knowledge and understanding: problem solving abilities, in particular for literature assessment and technology cost/ benefit assessment 

Making judgements: case-based analyses and group discussions

Communication: projects results presentation (flipped/ blended) 

Lifelong learning skills: self-assessment tools and interaction tools.

• Perform a case-base evaluation for medical technology management in clinics.
