The course is divided into twelve steps as follows:
Introduction to the software, main commands and User Interface, modelling of a small residential project in order to showcase the main modelling features. Introduction for system families and loadable families and main modelling technique.
Second part for Revit Software Introduction, this time base on document production e data extraction. Introduction to the main drafting and 2 annotation tools, View and Sheets creation management and customization. Introduction to parametric graphic production and parametric annotation strategies.
Introduction to Family modelling, main commands, and workflow for creating parametric objects. Introduction to basic loadable family modelling: Introduction to basic geometry commands, to information and parameter management, introduction to family types and to type and instances variation. Modelling of simple parametric component.
Advanced feature for parametric components modelling, composite object and parametric variation. Strategies for modelling composite objects. Nested elements and link between different families. Breakdown strategies, Introduction for shared families. Computation and annotation of shared nested families.
Modelling of complex non rectangular shapes in Revit, strategies and workflows.
Loadable Families Modelling, Modelling of some complex loadable families.
Basics commands, input, lacing, cross product, list management. Revit Dynamo interaction and family management.
Conceptual Shape Design in Revit through masses, and adaptive components. Introduction to non-standard building production. in Revit, modelling and quantification base on a mass customization of components.
Surface Panelling in Dynamo, Introduction to Adaptive Components and them usage in Dynamo, creation of parametric facades bases on examples of existing parametric building, advanced list management and geometric relationship.
