Obiettivi dell'insegnamento
The course, built on a lecture-based model, drives students to learn how to run a literature review on a given topic (research domain) and how to plan, draft and refine a critical discussion in the form of scientific writing, starting from the picture drawn about the state of the art literature.

THE COURSE IS PART OF A CONCENTRATION OPEN TO ALL THE MA STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL OF DESIGN WHICH CAN PREPARE DESIGN STUDENTS TO APPROACH ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO DESIGN RESEARCH.
THE CONCENTRATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN RESEARCH
LITERATURE REVIEW AND
THE ATTENDANCE TO THIS COURSE WILL SPECIFICALLY PREPARE STUDENTS FOR A FUTURE ACCESS TO A PHD PROGRAM IN DESIGN
Following the appointment of the teacher, a detailed program will be published.
Prerequisiti
The course is offered to 2nd year Master's Degree students and in particular to students interested in continuing their PhD studies.
Modalità di valutazione
The course may be delivered through on-line or hybrid (on-line + physical) schemes, including flipped classroom mode.
The method of examination may include test, oral examination, assignments presentation of team’s work.
