Obiettivi dell'insegnamento
The course aims to explore the cultural, creative and commercial aspects of exhibition design by leading the student in project activities related to real cases.
Risultati di apprendimento attesi
The student: - knows and understands cultural, creative and commercial aspects of exhibition design as well as aspects related to the visitor experience; - is able to manage the design process of a space dedicated to exhibitions; - makes design choices, ndependently and in groups, sharing and communicating the design choices made.
Argomenti trattati
The course explores the cultural, creative and commercial aspects of exhibition design, helping students in developing different concepts. Therefore all the project activities will be based upon real examples and a wide range of existing best practices that will also be theoretically analyzed. From the choice of a suitable location to the definition of displays, captions and possible launch events, the overall visitor's experience will be considered.

The students shall deliver a concept for the design of an innovative exhibition design. At the beginning of the course a detailed brief will be provided.

This program has been designed to be delivered in the presence of people, hoping to overcome the health emergency linked to COVID 19. In the event of a prolonged health emergency, the timetable could vary, providing for the introduction (in part or in full) of online educational activities. The theoretical analysis might include on site lectures and short field trips to Museums and commercial exhibitions (if possible according to health prescriptions).
