Obiettivi dell'insegnamento
The objective of the course is to introduce students to knowledge of contemporary avantgarde tendencies in relation to the culture of the spaces project.

Students: - know and understand the movements and cultural systems; - know how to independently and critically analyse the reference contexts. - know how to assess the relationship between the space project component with contemporary artistic languages - know how to interact and dialogue with the reference culture system.
Argomenti trattati
Art spawns new ideas for shaping our future. It questions, inspires people, opens up new perspectives, and thus enables them to embrace unusual and innovative solutions. By looking at and discussing a wide range of works, this course will provide guidelines about how to understand and appreciate Contemporary Art. Participants to this course will be requested to read a few documents provided by their teacher and see a few movies.

9 Nicolas Bourriaud' "Relational Aesthetics" - Artistic activity is a game, whose forms, patterns and functions develop and evolve according to periods and social contexts; it is not an immutable essence.
10 After Art. Art, activism and awareness. Art gives people the opportunity to express their true self. It's also a powerful platform to raise awareness and address complex social issues.
