Obiettivi dell'insegnamento
The goal of the course is to enable students to master the methods and processes that are necessary to evaluate building components' durability and to manage maintenance.
The course covers the items related with service Life Planning of buildings
Each topic is treated both theoretically and practically through a practical exercise.
Risultati di apprendimento attesi
Lectures and exercise sessions will allow students to:
-Analyze and understand the goals, assumptions and requirements associated to Service Life Planning of buildings
- Predict the Service Life of building components
- Predict the Reliability of building components
- Define the maintenance plan and scheduling of building components
- Predict the Life Cycle Costing of building components
