2050 THE PROFESSIONS OF THE FUTURE
In the Fashion Design Studio Course the students will be asked to imagine the possible professions of the future, considering different social/environmental aspects.
After a brief analysis of the work outfits in the history and in the society, the students will design a collection as a workgroup (design studio) and tailor an outfit as single work (fashion designer).
The course will consist in:
- design collection for both menswear and womenswear
- pattern making (also digital)
- tailoring of the items of the collection
- visual communication of the brans identity of the collection that will lead to the launch of the brand
The evaluation criteria will be based on creativity and design coherence in between the three main aspects of the course (fashion design, patternmaking/tailoring, communication).
IMPORTANT
IT IS MANDATORY TO HAVE A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF LECTRA MODARIS SOFTWARE FOR PATTERNMAKING.
IT IS MANDATORY TO HAVE A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, ADOBE INDESIGN
