This course addresses to first year students in Design&Engineering Master Course in relation to their different academic backgrounds.
The aim of the course is to deepen and merge languages and knowledge about design of students from engineering bachelor courses (Italians and foreigners) with the competencies of the students from design bachelors (Italians and foreigners).
The course will deal with theoretical and cultural aspects of design, giving an interpretation of different mechanism of form generation and of formal languages.

Evalutaion Criteria
Students will be evaluated on the base of the knowledge gained during the course and on their studying of the proposed bibliography.
Exam
During the semester some in itinere evaluations will take place, which will define the final mark together with a final (oral or written) exam.
