Intra- and in-to-out body communication (IBC and IOBC) are innovative technologies that enable the transmission of electrical and electromagnetic signals within and from inside to outside the human body, respectively. These techniques have significant implications for healthcare, wearable electronics, biomedical monitoring, and human-computer interaction. This PhD course, ""Intra- and In-to-Off Communication and Signal Processing for Body Area Networks: Principles, Applications, and Future Directions,"" is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both fundamental principles and state-of-the-art advancements in these fields.
The course will cover the theoretical foundations of IBC and IOBC, signal propagation mechanisms in biological and surrounding environments, and practical implementations across biomedical and communication technologies. The course is structured to offer both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, research discussions, and case studies on real-world applications.
By the end of the course, students will have a strong grasp of intra- and In-to-off communication principles, the ability to design and evaluate communication systems for biomedical and wearable applications, and insights into the latest research developments and technological innovations in signal processing for body-centric networks. |
