The goal of the course is to introduce the physical implementation issues of electronic circuits integrated in modern semiconductor processes. The structure of a Process Design Kit and of a Design Rule Manual will be illustrated by describing the devices implementation and models, the layout rules and the physical phenomena affecting reliability, yield and robustness of integrated circuits. |
