The primary objective of this course is to delve deep into the pivotal role of virtualization in shaping the future of embedded, mixed-criticality systems, especially considering automotive, aerospace, avionic, and IIoT domains systems. The mission of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of virtualization, blending theoretical knowledge with exposure to industrial use cases and some practical skills. The course aims to equip students with the ability to understand, design, implement, and evaluate virtualized environments tailored for systems where diverse application criticality levels coexist. Through a mix of lectures and more practical sessions, students will be prepared for advanced roles in systems architecture, and virtualization in various industrial sectors such as automotive, aerospace, avionic, and IIoT domains. |
