This course aims at discussing MEMS sensors technology and embedded systems from an experimentalist and practitioner point of view. Indeed, the course is not intended to teach students neither designing MEMS sensors nor programming embedded systems, for which they should refer to more specific courses. The course is intended to provide students with the necessary information to evaluate the exploitability of these technologies for industrial/research applications. The focus will be on sensors and microcontrollers by STMicroelectronics, a high-tech company excelling in the field, who will also deliver lectures during the course. |
