MISSION AND GOALS
Collection, analysis and exploitation of experimental data represents an important and critical part of nowadays technical activity. Its qualification, from the metrology point of view, has become a strict requirement to assess how representative the collected data are of the measured reality.
SUBJECT AND PROGRAMME OF THE COURSE
The model of the measurement process. The International System of Units and the primary standards. Sources of measurement uncertainty. Uncertainty concept. Uncertainty expression and evaluation. Reference documents (VIM and GUM). Organization of the International Metrology. |
