The course will take place in 5 days as follows: Day 1: Lesson 1: Advances and tricks in analogue signals conditioning and acquisition of biomedical signals (3 hours) Lab 1: Presentation and use of software to design and simulate conditioning circuits (3 hours) Day 2: Lesson 2: Programmable devices: hardware characteristics, implementation and applications (3 hours) Lab 2: Presentation of an exemplary project and design of the conditioning circuits in simulation (3 hours) Day 3: Lesson 3: Design and production of an electronic board (3 hours) Lab 3: Design and implementation of the electronic board in Eagle; (3 hours) Day 4: Lesson 4: Design of pc-based and embedded Real Time acquisition and control systems (3 hours) Lab 4: Application examples (3 hours) Day 5: Lesson 5: Medical devices testing and certification. (3 hours) Lab 5: Class definition and risk analysis for a medical device (3 hours).
This course will provide PhD students, having already basics in electronics, with a deeper knowledge in electronics technologies applied to the biomedical engineering. The course aims at teaching, through theoretical and practical classes, how to design and develop an advanced electronic system. The course will include practical laboratories in which the students will work directly on the development of an electronic project. |
