Programma sintetico |
Digital architectural representation is increasingly becoming a key factor in the usability of design, in a multi-user and interactive logic, thanks to the contribution of new digital technologies. In this perspective, an interesting area of their application is the many architectural projects that have not been realized into physical buildings, but which nevertheless constitute an important cultural heritage of an intangible nature and, often, also little usable in their archival documentary consistency.
Exemplary in this sense are the numerous projects drawn up by prominent Lombard architects in the third decade of the last century, aimed at transforming Isola Comacina into a place of reception and residence for artists, but unfortunately remaining largely on paper. These project drawings, preserved at the Brera Academy, provide an opportunity to experiment with the use of such digital representation technologies to virtually visualize buildings that were never built, taking existing archival drawings and specifications as a driving force for the transmission of their intangible cultural value, strongly identifying a design culture to be rediscovered and enhanced .
Thanks to the development of a VR project, the most advanced forms of digital architectural representation and visual programming language (VPL), will therefore be analyzed and tested from a scientific point of view trying to increase the paradigms of utility, interactivity and immersiveness of BIM models.
In this context, digital proxemics, will be explored with the aim disdeveloping interactive digital environments and objects (IVOs-IVEs) useful to different types of users, from professionals to virtual tourists. |
