The course is intended to introduce students to experimental methods, test planning, model preparation, loading systems, instrumentation, data acquisition and data processing, with the with the primary aim of developing a student's knowledge of experimental techniques and measurement systems for the characterization of the response of mechanical components, structures and materials.
A second goal of the course is to inform PhD students on the equipment available at the Laboratory for Material and Structural testing ‐ Politecnico di Milano |
