In continuity with the past workshops, this course aims at providing its participants with detailed references about the state-of-the-art of the research on structure behaviour in case of exceptional loads. The course will focus on: the concept of robustness, the new approaches to safety under extreme conditions, experimental and modelling instruments to investigate, predict and mitigate the risk of structure collapse.
