Control systems and design methodologies for rotary wings aircrafts, conventional and adaptive techniques. Structural and aeroelastic modeling of rotor blades. Dynamics of flexible rotating systems, finite elements and multibody techniques. Structural characterization of blade sections. Aeroelastic stability of rotor blades. Rotor fuselage dynamic interaction, loads transmission and vibrations. Ground and air resonance. Whirl flutter. Rotorcraft Pilot Couplings: Pilot Induced Oscillations and Pilot Assisted Oscillations.
