The goal of the course is to provide a general background on the methodological aspects and possible applications of Survey Research and Experimental Research.
More in detail, the topics developed in the program are: the process of Survey Research, the sample and questionnaire design, survey delivery and management, and basics of data analysis methodologies; the process of Experimental Research and experimental research methodologies. The course is articulated in both theoretical and tutorial sessions. It covers the following issues:
The research cycle.
Survey Research: definition and typologies.
The process of Survey Research.
Sample design. Basics of sampling theory.
The design of the data gathering instrument (questionnaire).
