Course Description |
The course will deal with all aspects concerning engineering of quantum applications, covering the entire lifecycle from requirement analysis down to evolution. Aspects such as hybrid quantum applications, quality of quantum software components, programming models for quantum applications, quantum monitoring will be covered. Students will study the state of the art, where possible, perform small experiments, and will create and present an essay describing their findings. The topics that will be discussed during the course are the following:
Introduction to quantum applications programming models;
Presentation of the currently available programming frameworks;
Support to hybrid quantum applications: integration and communication aspects, deployment and operation management;
Issues in verification and monitoring of quantum applications. |
